This book has been a long time in the making, first conceived by its author, violinist and teacher Gwendolyn Masin at the age of 21. Gwen comes from a lineage of violin teachers, her family is steeped in the tradition and what better way to keep this alive than to make a book. Not just any ordinary syllabus, but a storybook incorporating Masin's unique violin teachings. I was thrilled to work with her on this project, and the final result is beautiful.
